I wrote this in late 2020, but never got around to publishing it. It is loosely based on a talk I gave at Agile-Lean Ireland. The drawings are from a 100 day doodle challenge. In the last eight months, I have spent countless hours speaking with change agents. They reach out to me for product management advice, but these conversations inevitably seem to turn to the topic of how to nudge their organizations in new directions. During the pandemic these discussions have acquired a new sense of urgency.
I quit my last job because of being “sucked in” to a pattern of anger, frustration, etc., seeing no change results in my previous company. And was scared to apply new jobs, because of no instruments to track myself next time.
It's been 5 long months of therapy and reading, seeking of the way to not to.
Now that I've read and outlined this TBM issue, I courage to re-emerge as a professional.
